Overview

This meeting is a continuation of the topics raised during the virtual meeting held January 23, 2023. Several of the items are better suited for a face-to-face meeting where we can discuss the topics easier.

Attendance is limited to people who are part of the CLIEDIS API Architecture group. If you are interested in joining, please contact support@cliedis.ca for more information.

**We are exploring if we can offer a virtual option. Please email support@cliedis.ca if you wish to attend but can only attend virtually so that we can see what we can accommodate.

Agenda

The following topics are proposed:

  • Review CLIEDIS Service List, Service Types, and priorities based on FAWG input to ensure we know what to account for
  • GraphQL & REST – Overview of each. Do both have a place for us based on the types of services we need to support? What does this look like?
  • Review security requirements set by another Canadian association* to see what is applicable for us   (*pending their approval to share)
  • More on API Security-is what we have sufficient? Are we exposing too much in our URI naming – if so how to fix?
  • Companies are aligning with OAS 3.0. Are they making any special considerations, restrictions, etc with this usage?
  • Other Topics TBD
