Canada Life™ has received Canadian Life Insurance Standards Association (CLIEDIS) approval for its Canadian Insurance Standardizations (CITS) Book of Business (BoB) feed. This new feed includes many additional data elements that were part of the CITS original feed in addition to supporting the CITS BoB feed requirements and can be used to populate their agency administration systems. The feed will be sent weekly (over the weekend).

Meets national standards
Canada Life worked closely with CLIEDIS to ensure the feed complies with CITS standards. The data feed meets new guidelines outlined by CLIEDIS.

Pilot underway
Canada Life is currently piloting the feed and anticipates it will be available later this year. They plan to communicate a phased approach to all Managing General Agencies and National Accounts in Q1 2021.
