ivari has received CLIEDIS Approval for their CITS Base Policy for Inforce Feed. This new policy feed provides distributors with basic insurance policy information for both inforce and out of force policy status information and notifications regarding block transfers. Receivers will receive an initial file with a complete portfolio of their business with seven years history of out of force policies, followed with only changes to that business sent on a weekly basis. ivari is the first company to support inforce feeds based on triggered events as opposed to a full refresh file, thus considerably reducing the size of the file sent weekly.
ivari worked closely with CLIEDIS throughout the process to ensure they comply with the CITS standards. Details on supported cases and exceptions are available to CLIEDIS members on the CLIEDIS website, Implementation Progress page.
A pilot of the base policy for inforce feed is underway with several distributors and select agency management system vendors in order to collect valuable feedback.
